Ok now I am really finally feeling better.  I am going to start he gym this week FOR SURE!  I am thinking about switching to the University gym as would save $260 a year, but the hours are not as conducive to my needs.  So I guess maybe spending more is better if I will actually go!!!!!  I am ready to get on track with workouts. I have lost a few pounds so at least i did not gain while laying around for weeks sick.  I am ready to go go go.   hopefully, on my next blog you will read, "i went to the gym"  lol.  Goal this week is 2 lbs lost.  Let's make it happen!  Good news, it is 100% in my control!  Things in my life are really good right now so I just need to get healthy so I can make sure I enjoy it for years to come!  Lord knows, do not want to be riding down the walmart aisles in a hover scooter LOL

  1. Hey MB! I am excited to follow your updates as you embark on this journey...

    Some advice as you start:

Schedule a time to exercise. Write it down on paper or put it in your calendar. It is too easy to say you'll do it later!

Find someone to go to the gym with. It is much harder to skip if you know someone is meeting you there. If that is not possible, sign up for a group class at your gym. Encourage the instructor to hold you accountable.

Don't let yourself get discouraged (easy for me to say!). You will have temporary setbacks. But they are just that, temporary! Each meal, each day, each week is an opportunity to start fresh again by making a positive choice.

    You can do this!

  2. Greg, I did take your advice on a few things. I am scheduling specific times each day so I have a set routing. And I meet an employee one day a week at the gym who is in the wellness challenge. Thanks for the support and advice. I know you have been through this so i will soak in anything you have to say!
